If you have microbial problems (bacteria, fungi, algae, etc.), this will kill the microbes and help neutralize acids produced by the microbes. Some biocides only treat bacteria while others only treat fungi; Bio Kleen rids the system of any active microbes. It is suggested that Bio Kleen be used at least once a year at the shock treatment to prevent microbes from getting established in the fuel system and causing problems. It is less expensive to prevent microbial problems than it is to clean up a system with a microbial problem. Treat rate is 1 ounce to each 20 gallons of fuel, or 96 oz to 2000 gallons.
